Full Bloom by Hiroo Isono – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate)

Mauve wisteria hangs over a gap in the foliage that opens onto a green meadow and a strip of blue sky. Hiroo Isono stippled the whole picture in tiny dots — red and pink blossom, a yellow spray of mimosa, purple alliums, pink lilies, white daisies and a deep violet iris crowding in from every edge.

Stippling means the colour shifts gradually rather than in blocks, so the flowers sort more easily than the dense green between them. Finished size 68 x 51cm.
