Richard Macneil's illustration packs in a good selection of London landmarks — the Tower of London and Tower Bridge sit in the outer panels, while the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace fill the right-hand side. Centre stage is a circular vignette of the City skyline framed by the London Eye, with the Gherkin, the Shard, and Big Ben all visible behind it. A Beefeater stands to the left of the circle, a Queen's Guard to the right, a red phone box below, and a classic Routemaster bus floating above — it's the full set.
The composition is a collage of separate scenes rather than a single continuous image, which makes sorting by panel a decent starting strategy. The skies are largely blue and fairly open, but the strong reds of the bus, phone box, and guard's tunic give you reliable anchor points throughout the build. At 1000 pieces it's a solid evening's work without being punishing.
Gibsons puzzles are printed on high-quality board with a good fit, and Richard Macneil is a well-known name in the British jigsaw world — his clean, detailed style works particularly well in collage formats like this one.
The collage layout helps with sorting by panel, but shared blue skies across sections and fine architectural detail in each vignette make it a moderate challenge.
