The Natural History Museum in London, seen from among the tree ferns of its wildlife garden. The diplodocus cast stands out on the grass with its neck up against the terracotta arches and tower, while a family stops on the path and the youngest points at the skull.
The skeleton and the patterned brickwork read clearly; the fern fronds crowding the edges are the fiddly part. Finished size 69 x 48cm.
Clear architecture and skeleton, set against dense overlapping fern foliage.
