The Phantom stands behind Christine, half-masked and looming from the shadows, while deep crimson roses and gold baroque scrollwork frame the pair on every side. The chandelier, candelabras and the iconic white mask float through the ornate border like motifs pulled straight from the stage. It is a poster-quality composition — the kind of image that looks just as good finished on a table as it does on the wall.
The rich dark background keeps the gold and red details looking vivid throughout the build, but don't be fooled — the dense, repeating gilt scrollwork across much of the image means you'll earn this one. The central figures give you a clear anchor point to work outwards from, which helps, but expect the decorative border sections to take some patience.
Part of the Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals series from Gibsons, this is a 1000-piece puzzle and a solid one for any fan of the show.
The dense repeating gold baroque scrollwork and deep crimson background across much of the image creates large areas of similar tone and intricate detail with subtle colour transitions that will challenge sorting.
