An open scrapbook fills the frame, packed with Christmas keepsakes: a decorated tree, a nutcracker, a cuckoo clock, Father Christmas cards, a teddy bear, a fireplace with stockings, a Yorkshire Terrier, gold scissors, fabric swatches, and snippets of familiar verse. Janice Daughters has arranged it all like someone's been collecting favourite things for years and finally spread them out on the table.
The 500XL piece format means the pieces are larger than standard — good for evenings when you don't want to squint, and still a proper build with so many distinct little vignettes to work through. There's enough colour variety here to keep sorting manageable, but the busy collage layout means you'll be hunting for that exact patch of tartan or the right shade of holly red more than once.
A solid Christmas build, and the finished puzzle is worth keeping out for a while.
The dense collage layout contains dozens of small, similarly-sized vignettes with competing colours, patterns, and textures that make it hard to place individual pieces despite the larger piece size.
