Village on a Winter's Night - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Cobble Hill)

A red postbox stands in the middle of a snowy stone wall, and every creature in the valley seems to have gathered around it. There's a robin puffed up against the cold, a hedgehog and a couple of rabbits sniffing about the ivy, two badgers nose to nose, and a fox slinking off with something in mind. Above them, owls perch either side of the box while a squirrel and a fox eye each other across the wall.

Behind all that, the village climbs the hill under a full moon and a sky full of stars, with a church tower, snow-capped cottages and deer picking their way across the frozen field. It's a busy picture with a lot going on in the foreground and a quieter, snow-blue village behind, so sorting by section rather than colour will help once you get going.

Good one for anyone who likes finding animals tucked into a scene, or for building somewhere near the fire once the nights draw in.
