A red double-decker rumbles past Tower Bridge while a nanny with an umbrella drifts across the sky above it. Big Ben, the London Eye and the Gherkin all crowd into the same skyline, and down on the cobbles a Beefeater, a busking king and queen, a lion in a crown and a policeman chasing a runaway football share the pavement without anyone batting an eyelid.
It's the sort of scene where every inch has something going on, so it's one to build in sections rather than trying to take it all in at once. Start with the bold red bus and the phone box, then work outwards into the cartoon crowd, the shopfronts and the London Eye in the distance.
Good one to do with the family on a rainy afternoon, especially if anyone in the house likes spotting how many London landmarks they can name before the box lid gives it away. A fold-out poster is included to help keep track of who's who.
The bright colour blocking makes sorting easy but the sheer number of small cartoon characters and background details adds a challenge in the busier areas.
