Geometric Herb Garden by Rosalind Wise – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate)

A knot garden seen from above, its triangular beds edged with clipped box and yellow-green paths: orange calendula, blue borage stars, white daisies, nasturtiums with their round leaves, purple lavender, silver sage, and a spiral of clipped topiary at the centre. Rosalind Wise painted it from the 17th-century-style knot at the Garden Museum in London, laid out by the Dowager Marchioness of Salisbury.

There is no sky and no horizon — every piece is stippled green with flecks of colour, and only the hedge lines and path edges give it any structure. Finished size 50.8 x 63.5cm.
