Poppy Field, 1873 by Claude Monet – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Bluebird Puzzle)

A woman comes down the slope with a green parasol over her shoulder, and just ahead of her a child in a straw hat has almost disappeared into the grass. Up on the ridge behind them another woman and child are doing exactly the same thing, small as thumbprints against the trees.

The poppies run in a red drift across the whole left-hand side, there is a house among the trees, and above it all a summer sky of soft grey and white cloud.
