The-Banks of the Seine at Argenteuil by Edouard Manet – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Dtoys)

A woman and a small child have come down to the river for the afternoon and settled themselves on the grassy bank to watch the boats. She is in pale summer stripes with ribbons trailing from her hat; the little one in a straw hat is pressed up against her shoulder, far more interested in the water than in sitting still.

Moored a few yards out is a dark-hulled sailing boat with its boom swung across, and the Seine goes by in flecks of blue and gold.
