The Night Cafe by Vincent van Gogh – 500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate)

A green billiard table stands alone on a yellow plank floor beneath four gas lamps, each ringed with a halo of yellow strokes. Van Gogh painted the Cafe de la Gare at Arles just past midnight in 1888 — blood-red walls, a clock above the door, the landlord in a white coat waiting by the table, and a few drinkers slumped at marble-topped tables round the edges.

The floorboards run in long parallel strokes with barely any variation, which makes the lower half harder than the crowded walls. Finished size 46 x 61cm.
