Autumn Rhythm by Lawren S. Harris – 500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate)

Swirling teal-blue forms fill the middle with pale ripple lines drawn across them, jagged yellow and gold leaf shapes run down the left and right, and orange and coral spread over the bottom — all outlined in heavy black against a black ground. Lawren Harris, a founder of the Group of Seven, painted it around 1957, well away from the wilderness landscapes he is better known for.

No horizon, no subject, no landmarks — only colour and those black outlines to sort by, which makes 500 pieces feel like rather more. Finished size 45.7 x 61cm
