Rainbow Falls by L. C. Armstrong – 500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate)

Oversized blooms crowd the entire frame in L. C. Armstrong's dreamscape — magenta orchids, orange and yellow daisies, pink coneflowers, pale passion flowers — with a waterfall dropping into turquoise water behind them and green hillsides either side. Look into the gaps and the animals appear: a zebra, a small pink elephant wading, a white wolf, and a girl with plaits balancing a glass bowl with a goldfish in it on her head.

The dark foliage between the petals gives an easy start, then it slows right down — the daisies repeat in near-identical colours, so sorting goes by petal shape rather than hue. Finished size 61 x 45.7cm.
