The whole box is a bee's shopping list. Lavender, foxgloves, sunflowers and rows of potted herbs are set out against old seed-packet lettering, with a honeycomb pattern of hexagons breaking up the layout and a hand-lettered "Save the Bees, Plant These" sitting in the middle.

A hummingbird works one corner, a bluebird perches on a watering can in another, and bees and butterflies drift through the gaps between the flowers. Look closely and there are little garden props too - clay pots, a trowel, a teacup planted with pansies - all rendered in soft, painterly detail.

Cobble Hill's random-cut pieces mean no two are quite the same shape, which suits a picture this busy. Gardeners will enjoy picking out the plants they grow themselves, and the poster included makes it easier to keep track of who's sitting where.

About this puzzle

Hard

Dense repeating florals, honeycomb hexagons and small text-covered backgrounds make similar shapes and colours hard to tell apart.
