Sixty-odd little postcards, each one a butterfly paired with its own patch of flowers, all lined up in tidy rows like a collector's cabinet. Swallowtails, peacocks, blues and coppers sit next to poppies, daisies and forget-me-nots, no two panels quite the same.
It's the repetition that makes this one a proper sit-down job. Every square has its own colour palette and pattern, so sorting by butterfly type or flower colour works better than the usual edge-first approach. Cobble Hill puzzles are known for sturdy, easy-fit pieces, and this one comes with a poster to help keep track of which row goes where.
Good for anyone who likes their puzzles methodical rather than scenic. This is less one big picture, more a whole drawer of small ones.
The grid of similarly sized panels and repeated butterfly-and-flower motifs makes sorting tricky despite the varied colours within each square.
