Sun Over the White Harbour

It's a quiet day on a Greek harbour and the tavernas are almost ready for the lunchtime crowd. Tables are laid in white right by the water, someone has left a straw hat on the table and there are sunflowers in a jar. Out on the quay the fishing boats are tied up for the day, a pelican has settled in among the nets, and the whitewashed town climbs the hill to a blue-domed church.

Liliia strings bunting across a clear blue sky, with white birds overhead and sailing boats out on the bay. Finished size 68 x 49cm.
