There is something genuinely lovely about seeing so many Pokémon gathered together in a sun-drenched coastal scene like this. It feels less like a battle and more like everyone has been given the afternoon off — Pikachu lounging by a wooden jetty, Slowpoke taking up entirely too much room in the shallows, and a chaotic little rowboat situation involving some very enthusiastic Water-types.
This is part of Ravensburger's Collector's Edition range, and the artwork has a real sense of depth to it — mountains fading into a soft pastel sky, a red-and-white lighthouse perched on the rocks, and Flying-types wheeling overhead. It's the kind of image you find yourself getting lost in, spotting a different Pokémon every time you look.
The mix of bright turquoise water, earthy dock timbers, rocky shorelines, and a sky full of soft cloud detail means there's plenty of variety to keep you engaged across the full 1000 pieces — though the open water sections will definitely keep you on your toes. A brilliant build for any Pokémon fan, and genuinely gorgeous once it's done.
About this puzzle
The vibrant and varied Pokémon characters provide strong sorting reference points, but large areas of open turquoise water, soft pastel sky, and rocky shoreline sections with subtle tonal variation will challenge even experienced puzzlers.
