There is so much going on in this gorgeous parlour scene that you could spend hours just looking at it before you even open the box. A pair of mischievous cats have taken over — one stretched across the armchair, another pawing at a chess set on the dining table — while a cheeky rabbit hops across the patterned rug. Meanwhile, whoever lives here seems blissfully unaware, pottering about in the lush summer garden beyond those beautiful arched windows.
The view through to the greenhouse and flower-filled garden is just stunning, and it contrasts brilliantly with all the cosy clutter of the room — the bookcase, the easel, the houseplants, the ticking clock. Every corner rewards a closer look.
