A row of steep-gabled houses — stone and timber, sage green, cobalt blue — lines a grey road under jagged snow-topped peaks, with narrow conifers standing between them like posts. Glenn Payan parks a turquoise-and-white caravan at the front and leaves the sky wide open.
It is a long, low panorama and the top third is almost all flat blue with a handful of clouds in it. Finished size 81.3 x 40.6cm.
Clear distinct areas of sky, mountains, trees, and colourful houses with strong colour boundaries make this a straightforward and enjoyable puzzle.
