New York Dark Night by Manfred Voss – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Schmidt)

Night has come down over the East River and the storm clouds have not quite finished with the city. The Brooklyn Bridge swings across the whole scene in silver and steel, and behind it Lower Manhattan stands in cold greys, windows still lit all the way up.

Down at the waterline the river has gone perfectly smooth, holding the lamps of the promenade in long soft streaks, and a break of pale light opens up in the sky above the towers.
