The Menagerie by Rebecca Campbell – 500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate)

An elephant and calf, a lion, a giraffe, a camel, a bison and a pair of fallow deer stand about on flat green grass among clipped round trees and dark cypresses, with no perspective to speak of. A zebra pulls a small red-wheeled cart driven by a figure in a wide straw hat, a peacock trails its train across the bottom, and carnations and tulips are dotted in between. Rebecca Campbell took the layout from Indian miniatures and medieval tapestry.

Everything sits on one flat green ground, so the grass between the animals is where the time goes. Finished size 46 x 61cm.
