Six-Part Harmony by Kenojuak Ashevak – 500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate)

Two blue birds meet beak to beak at the top, wings fanned into red-tipped feathers, above a grey loon set in a green sunburst; below them two grey wolves flank a red one, their fur drawn in fine hatching. Kenojuak Ashevak, a leading figure in modern Inuit art, arranged the six animals symmetrically on plain cream and signed it in syllabics.

All that empty cream ground is the work — flat colour, no shading and nothing to line a piece up against. Finished size 68.5 x 45.7cm.
