The sun is coming up behind the Eiffel Tower and flaring straight through the ironwork, turning the wet road below into a sheet of light. Two people have stopped at the parapet with their backs to us, taking it in, and a bronze horse rears on its plinth beside them.
The Arc de Triomphe stands off to the left with the rooftops layered pale behind it, and Paris je t'aime is written across the sky in a looping hand.
The blended photographic montage with soft transitions between landmarks creates moderately tricky areas of similar tone.
