Klimt's The Kiss has been here before — but not quite like this. Günter Konrad has taken the gold-drenched original and layered it with graffiti tags, paint scrawls, and a hot-pink 'Kiss' sprayed across the background, turning one of art history's most recognisable canvases into something that looks pulled straight off a city wall.
The base image is still unmistakably there — the entwined figures, the floral robes, the meadow of blooms — but the overlaid marks give it a genuine tension between old and new. As a build, that layering works against you. The dominant yellows and golds run across a huge portion of the image, and the graffiti elements blend into the background rather than helpfully breaking it up into sortable zones. Expect the upper-right dark section and the scattered scrawl lines to slow things down.
Part of Heye's Rebrush! series, this is a solid pick if you enjoy art-themed puzzles with a bit of an edge to them.
The image is dominated by large areas of similar warm gold and yellow tones across both the figures and background, with overlaid graffiti scrawls that add visual noise rather than helpful colour contrast for sorting.
