Lolita Lorenzo – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate)

A Lolita Lorenzo collage: a face in deep shadow behind gold-rimmed glasses with teal lenses, crowned with banana leaves, striped feathers, croton leaves and a red-and-yellow heliconia. Below sits a collar of white protea, rust-brown feathers and cactus pads, the whole figure cut out against flat gold.

That gold ground takes up a third of the board and carries nothing but a faint linen grain, so it comes down to edge shapes. Finished size 63.5 x 63.5cm.
