Available to order

It’s out of stock with us right now, but in stock with our supplier and on its way to us. Order today to reserve yours and we’ll dispatch it the moment our next delivery lands — usually within 2–3 weeks.

When will it ship?
These usually reach us within 2–3 weeks, and we’ll email you the moment yours is on its way.
Is my order guaranteed?
Ordering reserves your copy, but it isn’t a cast-iron guarantee. Just occasionally a supplier can’t fulfil a title — if that ever happens we’ll email you straight away and refund that item in full, so you’re never left waiting or out of pocket. Expected dates are our supplier’s best estimate and can move.
Will I be charged when I order?
Yes — payment is taken at the time you place your order, exactly like any other purchase. This reserves your puzzle so it’s yours from the moment the next stock arrives.
What if I have other items in my basket?
We hold the whole order and ship it together once everything is in. If anything you’ve ordered comes into stock earlier, we’ll email you with the option of a partial dispatch for £3.97 (UK orders) so you can have the ready items right away — entirely optional.
Can I cancel if I change my mind?
Of course. Just get in touch and we’ll sort a refund.

Twenty-two paperback covers laid out in a grid on oxblood red: green snakes coiling over Adders on the Heath, Martian tripods under a magenta sky for The War of the Worlds, a skeleton for The Duke of Palermo, T.S. Eliot's Practical Cats in orange, a bat spreading over a stone balustrade for Dracula, Kafka's Amerika, Yeats in teal and gold. Edward Gorey drew all of them in pen and ink with his own hand lettering, most of them in his twenties while working in Doubleday Anchor's art department.

Each cover is a small self-contained picture in its own colours, so it breaks down into twenty-two quick puzzles and one plain red border. Finished size 51 x 68cm.
