This one's shaped like the state itself, so the border pieces do a lot of the work for you. A mockingbird perches across the panhandle, bluebonnets spill down through the hill country, and the whole thing sits over a vintage-style topographic map of Texas, complete with old town names and highway markers.
At 100 pieces it's a quick build rather than a weekend project, but the shaped edge and the mix of map lines, lettering and foliage keep it more interesting than a standard rectangle. The teal and turquoise palette makes the golden bird and purple bluebonnets stand out nicely once it's framed up.
A nice one to have on the go if you're after something short, or as a gift for anyone with a soft spot for Texas.
The busy map lines, small lettering and repeated foliage make sorting tricky despite the low piece count.
