Here's the whole of Europe with its best-known buildings standing up off the map like a pop-up book. The Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe share France, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Colosseum sit a short hop apart in Italy, and the Parthenon looks out over the Greek islands. Ferries and yachts criss-cross the seas between them, and gulls wheel over the coastlines.
Adrian Chesterman has found a castle, cathedral or monument for almost every country, with a compass rose in the corner to keep you pointed the right way. Finished size 69 x 48cm.
Hundreds of small, distinct buildings to place, but the seas are large expanses of very similar blue.
