Dominant Curve by Vassily Kandinsky

A great curve swings through the middle of the canvas and everything else takes its lead from it: a green crescent riding along the top, a red half-circle, an orange disc, and long black lines drawn like whips across the pale ground.

Up in the left corner a black starburst sits over a lemon-yellow circle, three plain black rings hang on the right, and a pink coiled thing squeezes in beside them. Kandinsky lets the shapes get on with it, and they behave like music.
