Relief-Disques by Robert Delaunay – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate)

Concentric rings of flat colour spin across a long panel — yellow, grass green, orange and pillar-box red arcs cut through by grey and cream half-circles, a small red bullseye ringed in white at the left, and black crescents dropped in near the edges. Robert Delaunay worked in dry, chalky oil, so every band still shows the brush that laid it down.

Curves are the only clue here: the same colours at the same widths, and not one straight line inside the picture to steer by. Finished size 40.6 x 81.3cm.
