Sunflowers, 1889 by Vincent Van Gogh – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Bluebird Puzzle)

A whole armful of sunflowers has been crowded into one small pale vase, and Vincent has painted his name straight across the middle of it. Some are wide open with their petals fanned right out; others have gone over to bare brown seedheads, and one droops sideways over the rim as though it has had enough of standing up.

Yellow on yellow on yellow — wall, table and flowers all much the same warm shade, with only a thin line drawn between them to say where one ends.
