Famille Péruvienne, 1986 by Louis Toffoli – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Bluebird Puzzle)

Two women with their babies, one sitting with the child gathered up in her lap, the other standing with hers wrapped on her back in a red shawl. They are turned towards each other in the middle of saying something, and both babies are in little knitted caps.

Toffoli builds them out of flat blocks of colour, a red hat and a grey one, a scarlet wrap against a deep blue skirt, all of it set against a wall of turquoise!
