Two market women have sat down against a blue wall with a jug between them, and the cups are out. Red hats, one shawl the colour of embers and one deep scarlet, and the pair of them settled in for a proper talk while the trading waits.
Toffoli builds them out of flat planes of colour, so the light coming off that wall seems to fall on the shawls and stay there!
