Venice by Olga Suvorova – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate)

A woman in a wide coral gown holds a dark red rose and a painted fan, gold embroidery running across the bodice and down the skirt. Behind her a companion in ochre brocade lifts a black mask on a stick with a blue tit perched on her hand, and a young man draws a bow across a violin. Olga Suvorova painted it in 2017; pink roses hang overhead, irises and lupins crowd the edges and a sailing ship rides the lagoon behind.

Nearly all the detail sits in the fabric, so the teal diamonds, crimson brocade and gold scrollwork give plenty to sort by. Finished size 73.6 x 50cm.
