Lago di Braies on a still morning, with the water that impossible green it actually goes and the Dolomites standing straight up out of the far end. The old wooden boathouse sits on the left with rowing boats tied along the jetty, bicycles are propped against the rail, and the whole mountain is repeated upside down in the lake.
A large area of flat green water carrying a full reflection of the peaks above it. Finished size 69 x 48cm.

The lake mirrors the mountains almost exactly, so a piece can look convincingly at home in two places.
