A couple sitting on a bench with their backs to us and the whole of Rome laid out in front of them. St Peter's dome rises in the middle distance with the colonnade running away either side, the sun is going down orange behind it, and the terrace they are on is framed by two stone columns with wisteria and roses coming over the top.
Hot sunset colour behind a very busy floral frame. Finished size 69 x 48cm.
