This is one of those puzzles where you can almost feel the warmth of the evening sun on your face. Dominic Davison has captured that perfect late-afternoon glow where everything seems to shimmer with golden light.
What I love about this canal scene is how alive it feels - there's a couple enjoying drinks at the waterside café, narrowboats moored peacefully along the towpath, and those gorgeous autumn trees creating pools of colour overhead. The reflections in the water will be particularly satisfying to piece together, with all those ripples and light playing across the surface.
