Summer In The Garden

Somebody has parked a red open-topped sports car at the cottage gate and left a puppy sitting up in the passenger seat, thoroughly pleased with itself! A woman in a full floral skirt has come down the path with a basket of flowers, and the terrier is already at her heels.

Further up the lawn a man works his way across with a push mower, a boy chases a red ball, and the thatched roof and the church tower stand behind it all.
