Ye Old Cottage Tea Rooms has the boards out for ice cream and cream teas, and the thatch is looking well in the sunshine. A blue Mini sits on the verge, a red sports car has just rolled up, and two children have stopped for an ice cream while the Dalmatian watches them very closely indeed.
Riders come along the lane past the church, and a pheasant crosses the road without hurrying for anybody!
