If you love a puzzle that feels like a burst of colour on the table, Happy Cat Family is a joy from the first few edge pieces. Rosina Wachtmeister’s trio of cats sit close together, all angular faces and curious eyes, set against a backdrop of bold brushstrokes and playful swirls.
This one is especially satisfying to build because the scene is packed with distinct blocks of colour: inky blacks and whites for the cats, bright turquoise and sky blues to one side, and that warm red-orange patterning on the other. It’s the sort of image that keeps you spotting little details as you go (those whiskers and shapes are great fun to piece together).
A brilliant pick for cat lovers, modern art fans, or anyone who fancies a cheerful 1000-piece with plenty of personality.
