Future Cities by Gal Barkan - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Heye)

A red pagoda sits at the centre of this scene, glowing warm amber against a backdrop of towering silver spires that stretch into a deep blue night sky. Floating lanterns drift upward between the futuristic towers, and lush green trees frame either side, as if an ancient temple has been swallowed whole by a city that never stopped growing. Small figures can be made out at street level, which gives the whole thing a sense of surprising scale.

This is from Heye's Future Cities series, with artwork by Gal Barkan. The digital painting style is rich in detail: the pagoda's tiered roofline, the reflective glass towers behind it, and those scattered points of light all reward a careful build. Expect to spend real time on the upper half, where the silver architecture bleeds into a dark sky with very little colour contrast to guide you.
