The gold state coach comes past the palace behind its team of white horses, the household cavalry riding alongside and the guardsmen in their bearskins holding the line. In front of them the crowd is packed three deep, arms up, Union Jacks going in every direction, and a child in a green jumper is up on somebody's shoulders for a better view.
Overhead the Red Arrows cross the palace trailing smoke in red, white and blue. Two gilt frames hold the Queen in 1952 and again in 2022!
