The sun is going down over the bay and the whole hillside has turned gold with it. Whitewashed houses tumble down the cliff in terraces, blue domes catch the last of the light, and far below a cruise ship and a handful of little boats sit out on water so deep it is almost navy.
Stand on one of those winding staircases and you would have the warm stone underfoot and the sea air coming up at you. What an evening!
The white buildings and blue domes provide distinct colour regions, but the sea and sky areas share similar tones making them moderately challenging.
