You are standing out in the open on a flat green field with nothing between you and the weather, and the sky has gone the colour of slate. Then one enormous fork comes down out of the cloud and finds the only tree for miles, lighting it up white from the roots to the topmost leaves.
Smaller branches of lightning spread away across the cloud on either side, and the whole thing is over in a fraction of a second — here it is, held still.
Large areas of dark stormy sky with minimal colour variation make sorting pieces in the upper portion very challenging.
