Postcards of the city spread out over one another, most of them in black and white so the colour lands where it matters. Inside the Sagrada Família the columns branch overhead like a stone forest, and out on his column Columbus keeps pointing away over the rooftops.
Then Park Güell arrives in full colour — the tiled lizard on his steps and that long serpentine bench running right across the bottom in broken blue, green and gold. Somebody has scrawled ¿Cómo estás? across one of them!
The collage layout with distinct sections aids assembly, and the mix of colour and black-and-white images provides contrast, though the greyscale sections are more challenging.
