Rest Stop – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Cobble Hill)

The sun is going down behind the far bank and every window in the cabin is already lit, warm orange against the blue of the evening. The rowing boat is tied up at the little jetty, the water has gone glassy, and a path of gold light runs straight across it towards the door.

Three Canada geese come in low over the reeds, heading for the water. The birches stand white against the dark trees and the lily pads sit still in the shallows.
