The shop front is dressed for Christmas from top to bottom - garlands wound round the pillars, red bows on every hook, and a window packed with poinsettias, wreaths and gingerbread hearts. A couple stop outside to pick a tree, a woman in a red coat watches from the doorway, and a small dog on a lead waits patiently on the mat while snow settles on the pots of flowers lined up along the pavement.
It's a lot of green to sort through, but that's half the fun - the garlands, ribbons and flower stems all have their own shades and textures once you get up close, and the warm glow from inside the shop gives you a good block of colour to anchor the rest of the build around. The string lights along the top and the little lantern by the door are nice small details to save for last.
Good one to have on the table in the run-up to Christmas, with a mug of something warm and the lights turned down low.
The shop front is packed with densely layered green foliage, garlands and ribbons in very similar tones, making it tricky to sort despite the bright pops of red and gold.
