A snowy village square on Christmas Eve, lit up by a towering decorated tree in the centre and warm amber glow spilling from the post office and shop fronts. The postman is doing his last round, Santa is handing out gifts to a crowd of carol singers, and in the foreground a kid on a sledge is coming in fast with absolutely no intention of stopping. Two robins sit in the holly border at the bottom, which is a nice touch.
Matt Edwards has packed this scene with small moments — a child building a snowman with a toddler watching on, a dog straining at the lead, a red phone box just behind Santa. There is plenty here to keep you busy sorting, and the warm orange and gold tones against the blue-white snow make colour-matching more manageable than it first looks. That said, the tree lights and snowy rooftops will keep you honest.

The image contains large areas of similar warm golden tones in the buildings and tree lights, snowy rooftops with subtle colour variation, and a densely packed crowd scene with many small figures and fine details that will be tricky to distinguish.
