Two People: The Lonely Ones, 1899 by Edvard Munch – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Bluebird Puzzle)

Two figures stand at the water's edge with their backs to us, looking out at a flat blue sea. She is in a pale dress with red hair loose down her back; he is a dark shape in a heavy coat, and there is a good arm's length of shore between them that neither one closes.

The stones are worked in scratched white lines, the sea in three or four flat colours, and the grain of the woodblock shows right the way through.
