Wassily Kandinsky - In Blue, 1925 - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Bluebird)

Kandinsky had moved to the Bauhaus by this point and his shapes had gone geometric with him. Against a deep blue field a stack of triangles, bars and half-circles balances on nothing in particular, an orange disc glows behind it like a small sun, and a long checked ribbon runs off to the lower left carrying its own weather.

A broad blue ground with the whole composition concentrated in the middle of it. Finished size 69 x 48cm.
